TECHNICAL DATA
High degree of smoothness requires much less force to draw through tissue; easy to place, easy to pill out. Polypropylene suture being a monofilament has no interstices to harbor micro-organisms. It handles exceptionally well. It is as inert as steel, resists break down by infection. It is unaffected by tissue fluids and can be used even in presence of infection.
