TECHNICAL DATA
PGCL monofilament synthetic absorbable suture is prepared from the polyester, Poly (glycolic-co-caprolactone). It is available both dyed and undyed. When dyed, color additives such as D%C Violet No.2 are used. Polydioxanone polymer has been found to be nonantigenic nonpyrogenic, and elicits only a slight tissue reaction during absorption. PGCL meet all the requirements of European Pharmacopoeia (EP) for Synthetic Absorbable Monofilament Sutures.

ABSORPTION
For Dyed suture, In vitro linear tensile strength retention after 1 weeks in PBS (pH=7.4) at 37ºC≥55% BSR
For UnDyed suture, In vitro linear tensile strength retention after 1 weeks in PBS (pH=7.4) at 37ºC≥45% BSR
